Club Expectations
In our club, the team manager plays an essential role in assisting the coach, allowing them to focus entirely on their coaching responsibilities. It is expected they will work alongside the coach to facilitate effective communication and organisation for both training sessions and game days. Additionally, team managers are required to adhere to club policies, serve as positive role models for the players, and foster a fun atmosphere while embodying the club’s values.

To get involved with managing a team, you’ll need to:

Email to indicate your interest, include details about what team you would like to manage.
STEP 2
Apply
Apply for a Working With Children Check.
STEP 3
register
Register as a Team Manager on PlayHQ.
You’ll then be put in contact with the relevant Age Group Co-ordinator who can introduce you to your team’s coach, players and their families.
A Team Manager is responsible for team communications, including sharing game details, scoring rosters, and training schedules via group texts or apps like WhatsApp and MyHoops to keep everyone informed
